Lei Pakalani leads Switchpoint’s HR team, overseeing policy development, compliance, talent management, employee relations, training, leadership effectiveness, total rewards, and workplace culture initiatives. She ensures that HR strategies support both employees and organizational growth. 

Lei was drawn to Switchpoint by the opportunity to do meaningful, people-first work alongside incredible leaders. She is motivated by the chance to create positive, lasting change in workplace culture while supporting the mission to serve those experiencing homelessness. 

With over 30 years of experience in HR, training, organizational effectiveness, and people and workforce culture, Lei is most proud of helping organizations reset workplace cultures, develop leadership frameworks, and empower HR teams to drive both transformational and operational impact. 

She loves that Switchpoint allows her to bring her authentic self to work, be fully engaged, and collaborate in real time with colleagues who share her passion for meaningful impact. 

Originally from Laie, Hawaii, Lei enjoys fitness and food in all forms. Her background includes degrees in Public Administration and Educational Leadership, as well as global certifications in HR and organizational development.
