Chief Development Officer
Jodi Lunt was recently named Chief Development Officer for Switchpoint, where she leads fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, and community partnerships to advance Switchpoint’s mission of addressing homelessness and poverty. In this role, she develops major campaigns, corporate partnerships, and long-term sustainable funding initiatives, while also overseeing philanthropic messaging, impact reporting, and community engagement. Jodi brings more than 33 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership to Switchpoint. Prior to this role, she served over 15 years as Executive Director of the Davis Education Foundation, where her leadership significantly expanded the organization’s reach and capacity. Under her direction, the Foundation’s annual revenue increased from $1 million to $9 million, generating more than $64 million in philanthropic support during her tenure. Among her most impactful initiatives is an $11 million campaign to construct ten Teen Centers and a Teen Residential Center in the Davis School District. These centers—built directly within high schools—provide essential services including showers, laundry facilities, food pantries, and comprehensive wrap-around support for students facing significant barriers. This work reflects Jodi’s enduring passion for children and her commitment to ensuring every student has access to basic needs and opportunities for success.
A graduate of Weber State University, Jodi went on to earn a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Utah State University. Her extensive career in education includes roles as a teacher, specialist, science director, and foundation director, providing her with deep insight into student and community needs.
Jodi’s leadership philosophy is grounded in a guiding quote from Margaret Mead: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it’s the only thing that ever has.” This belief shapes her collaborative approach and dedication to community impact.
