Wayne was raised on a farm in Rupert, Idaho, where he developed a strong work ethic and deep roots in agriculture. In addition to farming, he owned and operated Mart Grain Company, a highly successful grain elevator business that grew to become the largest of its kind in Idaho before being sold.
In 1986, Wayne relocated to St. George, Utah, where he established the area’s first Edward Jones brokerage office and began his career as a financial advisor. He later joined Merrill Lynch in 1994, where he opened and led the local office, serving as both a financial advisor and branch manager until his retirement in 2018.
Today, Wayne remains active in his community as a board member of Switchpoint. He also owns and manages several rental properties. Wayne and his wife, Linda, reside in the Southgate area of St. George.
