Board Vice President
Jeri Schnitker has been involved in the non-profit world for over 30 years and has been a member of Switchpoint’s Board of Directors for eight years.
After moving to St. George in 1989, Jeri volunteered as the manager of the Gift Shop at Dixie Regional Medical Center and in 1999, she accepted a position with The Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center where she was the Executive Director of the Jubilee of Trees for ten years, in addition to Foundation CFO and Planned Giving Director until her retirement in 2014.
Jeri spent her working years in Salt Lake City in the legal and accounting fields, working as a paralegal in the corporate, tax planning and preparation, probate, and retirement plan design and administration areas of the law. From 1977 – 1989 she was employed as the general manager of Retirement Systems Management Corporation and, after moving to St. George, continued as a consultant with the firm until 1999. Ms. Schnitker has always been active in her community and has been involved as a volunteer for much of her career, teaching legal assistant classes at the University of Utah and serving as a member of the Advisory Board of Salt Lake Community College.
She is passionate about the unique and innovative Switchpoint programs that are changing the lives of the most vulnerable in our community.
